Position Overview

The Freelance Sales Executive will play a crucial role in driving business development and securing new clients within the interior design and fitout services industry. This position requires a self starter with strong sales acumen, a passion for design, and the ability to build relationships with key decisionmakers across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential clients in sectors such as corporate offices, hospitality and residential.
  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
  • Conduct market research to identify new trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

• Consultative Selling:

  • Understand client requirements and pain points, offering tailored design and fit out solutions that align with their needs and budget.
  • Present and demonstrate the company’s portfolio, services, and capabilities to prospective clients.
  • Work closely with the design, estimation and project teams to provide clients with customized proposals, quotations, and design concepts

• Sales Strategy & Reporting:

  • Develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s client base and market share in the interior design and fit out services sector.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs, reporting progress to the management team.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, leads, and client interactions using CRM tools.

• Negotiation & Closing Deals:

  • Manage the negotiation process to ensure mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
  • Lead contract discussions, finalise project details, and ensure timely closure of deals.

• Customer Satisfaction & After-Sales:

  • Ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales process, providing post-sales support where needed.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and the project management team to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.

•Established connections or network within the architecture, design, or construction sectors -Consultants, Main contractors, Realtors & end users.

• Proven track record of at least 5+ years UAE experience in sales, business development, or account management within the interior design, construction, or fit out services industries.

• Strong networking abilities and a proactive approach to generating leads.

• Strong understanding of the interior design and fit out market, including trends, materials, and project processes.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Comfortable with both inbound and outbound sales techniques.

• Flexibility to work remotely, with travel to office, client sites and meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
